Breastmilk feeding (sometimes also referred to as chest milk or body milk) is important to parents and their babies. Microsoft supports working parents who want to continue breastfeeding during business travel by getting refrigerated milk safely to the baby.
Maven Milk is a part of the Maven benefit and is available to all US benefits-eligible part-time and full-time employees who are enrolled in a Microsoft health plan (e.g., Premera, Surest, or Kaiser). Milk shipping is for the employee’s own work travel. It is not available to partners. Interns and visiting researchers are eligible for this benefit.
Important Note: The cost of milk shipping for work travel is considered a business expense and is covered by Microsoft. There is no employee tax liability or associated co-pay.

Navigate to Maven to activate your free membership. You can also download the Maven app from your mobile app store. You’ll need to register for an account using your employee ID number. When choosing a program, select Maven Milk from the options presented.
For those unable to access Maven Milk or those not on a Microsoft healthcare plan, reimbursement is available for shipping through Milk Stork.
