SoFi provides two programs to help you refinance your loans: 

• Student Loan Refinancing: Consolidate all your existing student loans (federal and private) into a single loan with one monthly payment. Access low fixed or variable rates with flexible loan term options (5-20 years). There are no fees, including application or origination fees, and no prepayment penalties. The online application process is easy and straightforward. 

• Private Student Loans: Designed for employees with children or legal dependents who need help paying for college expenses, SoFi Private Student Loans can be used for undergraduate and graduate school loans, including MBA degrees, law school, and medical school. They cover up to 100% of school-certified costs of attendance, including tuition, food, books, room and board, transportation, and personal expenses. 

First Tech Federal Credit Union offers a Student Loan Refinance Program to consolidate or refinance both federal and private education loans. The program has the following options: 

• Fixed term loan: Fixed payments throughout the life of the loan for 5, 10, or 15 years. 

• Balloon loan: Smaller monthly payments and one large payment of 40 percent or 50 percent of the original loan amount at the end of the loan term of 15 years.

• Interest-only loan: Smaller initial payments of interest only from one to 10 years, then larger payments of principal and interest for the remainder of the loan term of 15 years.
