I'm dealing with the death of a family member

We're so sorry for your loss, and we're glad we're able to support you at this difficult time. Dealing with the loss of a family member or other loved one is difficult, heartbreaking, and can be expensive, too. Let us help you get through this time.

You can't pour from an empty cup. You may have heard this before, and if you have, that's because it's true. As you go through the grieving process, taking care of yourself is of the utmost importance, even as you may be taking care of others and important details. Resources are available to help you and your family cope with your loss and understand important steps you'll need to take.

Spring Health, provides personal or family counseling to assist you with the loss and grieving process. Spring Health counselors are available at any time, day or night, for you or your family members. They also provide additional bereavement resources to help you cope with the many aspects of grief.

If you're in crisis, call (855) 629-0554 and select option 3.

You can also go to Spring Health to create an account and schedule an appointment with a counselor, or a Care Navigator who can help you learn more about what resources are available to you.

You can also access Work-life Support Resources, using passcode mscares, including articles and information on grief, or connect to Live chat to ask about more resources available in your community.

After a loss, you may need some time away from work for yourself or to spend with your loved ones. Whether you're using this time to take care of others or yourself, it's important to Microsoft that you have the time you need.

Use our Time Away page to understand what's available to you.
