Financial Education

At Microsoft, we believe it’s important to offer comprehensive and objective financial education so employees can make informed decisions. We’ve engaged an independent third party, Financial Knowledge, to provide free educational seminars to help you manage your financial wellbeing.

All U.S. benefits-eligible Microsoft employees qualify for enrollment in Financial Education courses offered in this program.

Financial Knowledge is not affiliated with any financial institutions and does not provide investment advice nor sell financial products. Their mission is to provide comprehensive, conflict-free financial education with complete objectivity, absent of any conflicts of interest by the firm, its principals, or its instructors.

Microsoft employees can access the  Financial Knowledge site using their Microsoft email address, and browse through and register for interactive courses like:

  • Investing Basics

  • Tax Planning Strategies

  • Maximizing the Microsoft 401(k) Plan

  • Preparing for Home Ownership

  • Medicare Made Simple

  • And many more!

In addition to a large catalog of personal finance courses, you also have access to assessment tests, financial calculators, and a library of previously recorded sessions.
