More on screening and training
Most nannies have completed post-secondary education, and many are either current college students or recent college graduates. During initial orientation, all nannies must take training courses on child safety, security, child development, and age-appropriate fun. Nannies also receive ongoing professional guidance and access to up-to-date tools and resource directories.
Additionally, as part of the nanny placement, our placement partners will see to it that a comprehensive background screen is conducted by an accredited national background screening agency. This screening will include state and federal crime history, National Sex Offender database check, and address history. All of this at no additional charge to you.
More on nanny-supported online learning
During the nanny selection process, you can choose a nanny who is trained as a learning coach to support online instruction. This unique offering is designed to help your family successfully navigate the growing variety of educational opportunities for children.
Nannies who complete the instructional support training can help children and families establish an effective at-home learning environment, actively supervise and support the needs of multiple children with different learning goals, and offer motivational tips and techniques to help children remain focused on their schooling.
Note: Nannies who are trained as learning coaches receive a higher hourly rate than nannies who are not trained.
