Hypertension programs

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with high blood pressure, we're here to help you manage it effectively and live a healthier life.

This program is available at no cost to all US benefits-eligible part-time and full-time employees and their eligible dependents who are enrolled in either a Premera health plan.

Premera enrollees are eligible for a program through Teladoc Health.

For employees enrolled in the Surest Health Plan and diagnosed with high-blood pressure and other comorbidities, check out Virta Health as you may be eligible for programs such as diabetes prevention, and/or weight management.

For employees enrolled in Kaiser Permanente or Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington, information about programs to control and combat Hypertension and other comorbidities can be found at the Kaiser web page. 

The Hypertension Program is designed to make it easier for you to live with and manage high blood pressure. Here are the key components of the program: 

  • Connected blood pressure monitor: This monitor automatically uploads your blood pressure readings to your secure online account. The app provides valuable guidance and tips to help you manage your condition. 
  • Support from coaches: Communicate with coaches about high blood pressure and get answers to all your questions on nutrition and lifestyle changes. 
  • Automatic tracking: Your monitor records and organizes all your blood pressure readings, which you can share with your healthcare team whenever you're ready. 

Please note that the program includes trends and support on your secure Teladoc Health account and mobile app. It doesn’t include a tablet or phone. 

To enroll in the Hypertension Program, simply go to Teladoc Health and use the code Microsoft. Make sure to have your insurance card with you when you enroll.
