Our Nanny Placement Services include:
- Recruitment, vetting, and selection of a nanny tailored to your family's unique needs
- Comprehensive background checks at state and federal levels
- Formal training in childcare, first aid, and CPR for all nannies
- Option to choose a nanny trained as a learning coach for online instruction
- An employee discount on the nanny placement fee
- Jovie takes the administrative tasks off your to-do list, from recruiting, screening, and hiring to payroll, insurance, and taxes
- Once you’re signed up, you can use the MyJovie app to plan and coordinate your childcare, so you're always organized and in control
All nannies have taken training courses on child-safety, security, child development, and age-appropriate fun. Nannies also receive ongoing professional guidance and access to up-to-date tools and resource directories.
During the nanny selection process, you can choose a nanny who is trained as a learning coach to support online instruction. These specially trained nannies can help children and families establish an effective at-home learning environment; actively supervise and support the needs of multiple children with different learning goals; and offer motivational techniques to help children remain focused on their schooling.
Note: Nannies who are trained as learning coaches receive a higher hourly rate than nannies who are not trained.
All US benefit-eligible full-time and part-time employees can take advantage of the Nanny Placement Service. Interns and visiting researchers are not eligible for this benefit.
To ensure you receive the best nanny for your family, Bright Horizon's partner, Jovie, will oversee the placement process. The time for placement varies in length but usually takes between two and six weeks.
Once the Microsoft employee in the family has signed up on Bright Horizon's site, we'll match your family with a great nanny:
Step 1: Fill out Jovie's quick online form. Your local Jovie concierge will reach out to learn about your family's needs and expectations.
Step 2: Once a family agreement is signed, the concierge will handle the nanny search process, from interviewing to background checks.
Step 3: We'll present you with experienced candidates who fit your family's lifestyle. Once they pass our careful vetting process, we'll begin introductions.
Step 4: We help manage the employee paperwork from taxes to payroll and insurance. All you have to do is a get excited for your nanny's start date!
Note: If for any reason you need a replacement nanny within the first 12 weeks, Jovie will help find a new nanny at no additional charge. Also if Jovie is outside of your budget, Family Concierge has alternative Nanny sourcing options through Sittercity.
