The Premera Health Savings Plan (HSP) is a high-deductible health plan available in all states. Residents of Hawaii should access the Hawaii-only (below) resources for accurate information.

* If you select the HSP you are eligible to contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA), which can be used to save your pre-tax dollars for eligible expenses. If you’d like to open an HSA you can do so at the bank of your choice and all contributions to the account would be managed by you.

Surest Health Plan (United HealthCare Choice Plus)

The Surest plan is a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) health plan available in all states except Hawaii.

• Includes prescription coverage through OptumRx.

Perks+ is a program available to Microsoft employees to provide cost-saving opportunities in a variety of ways. Employees and interns in Washington can choose between Perks+ reimbursement and Perks+ PRO Club. Perks+ reimbursement is available to all others.

Financial wellbeing resources are available to you as an intern at Microsoft. Though you do not have access to our retirement services, you still have access to other resources to help you on your Microsoft journey.
